Sol Bornstein 90 of Edison, entered into eternal rest Wednesday October 9, 2013 at the J F K Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Paterson and has resided in Edison for the past 44 years.

Sol was the proprietor of Bornstein and Son Painting for 60 years before retiring in 2000.

He was an army veteran of WW II and a member of AARP.

Sol is survived by his wife Shirley A. Fischler Bornstein to whom he was married for 44 years, his children Gregory D Bornstein and his wife Krista Eileen Danielson of Kingston, NY, Alyssa S Bornstein of Edison, Sheldon Bornstein and his wife Joann, and Sherri, his granddaughters Violet Bornstein and Sharon, and his sister Dorothy Gorelick.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 13, 2013 at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue Metuchen. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Memorial Park.
