SIDONA ANNA KANITRA
AGE: 87 METUCHEN
Sidona Anna Kanitra, 87, of Metuchen, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Pernek, Czechoslovokia, she was formerly of Edsion moving to Metuchen 14 years ago. She was a librarian at the Clara Barton, Edison branch for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Metuchen Senior Citizens. She was an avid gardener, reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, as well as surfing the internet.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Martin, in 1996. Surviving are two sons, Thomas D. of Metuchen, and David R. of White House Station; and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Lara.
A memorial visitaiton will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at the Flynn and Son/Koyen funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Metuchen Senior Citizens Club. Condolence messages may be sent to our web address at www.flynnfuneral.com.
