Sheila A. Thorn, 81, of Columbus, OH, entered into eternal rest, peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Kobacker House Hospice Center. Born in Cliffside Park, NJ, she formerly resided at CenterBridge II in Bridgewater, NJ, Tamarac, FL and Edison, NJ. Sheila was retired but kept busy with her entrepreneurial talents in crocheting/knitting, floral arrangements and many other homemade crafts. Sheila taught crocheting and knitting and became actively involved with the Somerset County Family Services to donate finished items from the club to the homeless, battered woman and children, and also provided chemo and neo-natal newborn hats to RWJ at Somerset Hospital. St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Atlantic City Children's Seashore Hospital were two organizations that were near and dear to her heart. She gave often to these vital organizations.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter F. Thorn, in 2009; her son, Robert A. Conk; and her brother, Edward and her sister, Connie.

She will always be loved and remembered by so many that had the pleasure of meeting her because she was a kind and caring, giving selflessly to anyone that she knew or met.
