Sheila M. (nee: Woodruff) King, 58, of Fords, passed peacefully at the RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick, on Friday June 18, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with Carcinoid Cancer.

She was born on November 16, 1962, in Perth Amboy, NJ and raised in the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Twp., before moving to the Fords section of the township in 1984.

She was a graduate of John F Kennedy High School in Iselin, class of 1980.

She was currently employed with Sethness Roquette in Avenel for the last 7 years. She was previously employed with Target, Woodbridge Township School District and PNC Bank.

She was also proud to officiate a family wedding as an ordained minister.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents; Nelson and Veronica Woodruff, and her brother, Robert McGarvey.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 37 years, Keith J. King, her two beloved children; Nicholas and his wife Michaela, of Belford, NJ and Melissa King of Fords, her greatly anticipated granddaughter to be, "Kaia Veronika King", her six beloved siblings; Jeanette Dineen and her husband William, of Edison, NJ, Maryanne Argese and her husband John, of Helmetta, NJ, Denise Santoro and her husband, Dennis of Hillsborough, NJ, Veronica Bookman and her husband Barry, of Sarasota, FL, Nelson "Jay" Woodruff and his wife Debra, of Succasunna, NJ, and Andrew Woodruff and his wife Liz, of Hamilton, NJ, her sister-in-law; Margaret King, and brothers-in-law Dennis and Harry King, also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 21, 2021, from 4 pm to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

A private cremation will follow.
