Shawn Schick, of Fords, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the age of 65..

Born in Kingston, NY, Shawn resided in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township for 27 years.

Over the last decade, he was a truck driver for Eagle Express Line in Jersey City, NJ. Prior to this, Shawn worked for Armellini Express Lines in Palm City, FL.

Shawn was an avid collector of many things, including pocket watches, tractors, bicycles, and more. He was often transfixed with learning how they worked. A Yankee fan through and through, there were few games he ever missed.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Schick. He is survived by his beloved wife Robyn Rhodes, his two brothers Christopher Schick of Sacramento, CA, and Malcolm Schick and his wife Patricia of San Diego, CA, his two sisters  Julia Roedell and her husband Bill of Elm Grove, WI,  and Holly Schick of Chula Vista, CA, his brother-in-law Thomas Rhodes and his wife Gail, of Fords, his five nieces Kelly, Lindsey, Kendyl, Anne, and Morgan, his two nephews Malcolm Jr. and Alex, his son Shawn and daughter Kaitlyn.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday,  August 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Andras Szasz officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, in the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge.
