Private cremation services were held for Scott Newman Konigsberg, 56 years, of Edison, NJ, who passed on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Formerly of Highland Park, he was a long time resident of Edison Twp.

He was a graduate of  Highland Park High School.

He had been employed as a salesman with A.B.& S Auto Parts in Raritan Center,  Edison.

He was an avid card player, and had run two poker games, twice a week,  both in Edison and Woodbridge.

He leaves behind his beloved partner for 30 years, Debra  Vorhees, and his stepchildren, Robert Voorhees and Nicole Hernandez and her husband Louis.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
