Obituary

Scott Bryant Johnson, 56, of Somerset, NJ, passed away in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, on August 6, 2020. He was born on July 28, 1964, in Perth Amboy General Hospital. Scott graduated from JP Stevens High School in Edison, class of 1982. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill. He also played on their baseball team throughout college, breaking many records at the time; some of which still stand today. Scott, also was selected to play on the USA Olympic Baseball team, where he had the honor of visiting and playing baseball in several foreign countries. _Pursuing his love of baseball, he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians after college. He played for 3 years in Waterloo Iowa. Scott had the gift of gab; he could talk to anybody and loved meeting new people, making him perfectly suited for his career in sales. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing recreational baseball, riding his bike and spending time with his nieces and nephew.  He was an avid fisherman, with a love for the outdoors.

Scott is survived by his mother, Arlene Johnson; his father, Lawrence Johnson; his sisters, Robin Connington and Lori Bishop; his nephew, Danny Connington and his nieces, Lindsey, Allison and Sydney Bishop.
