Sarah Omanson 98, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, Friday June 1, 2012, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and has resided in Perth Amboy for the past 55 years.

Sarah was a librarian at Fort Monmouth for 35 years before retiring in 1980. Her favorite past time was writing poetry.

Sarah is survived by her nephews Joel Silver and Jeremy Silver in Bronx, N.Y. and a great niece Rebecca Gorodnitsky.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at 1 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, Rabbi Melinda Zalma officiating. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
