Sarah Joan Dudek, 88, passed away quietly on Friday, September 22, 2023 at JFK University Medical Center - HMH in Edison, NJ.

Sarah was born in New York to Albert and Celia Paneque. She spent most of her life in Staten Island where she attended Port Richmond High School. Sarah worked for over 30 years with Chemical/Chase Manhattan Bank in the Financial District of New York and truly enjoyed her career.

Sarah loved her family dearly and cherished the memorable times they spent together.  She was an amazing cook and took pleasure in preparing delicious  meals for others - especially during the holidays. She was the consummate hostess, always ready to entertain and make everyone feel welcomed. Sarah also loved to go on cruises, vacation in Myrtle Beach, and take surprise trips to Atlantic City.

In addition to her parents Albert and Celia, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Dennis in 2017. She will be missed beyond measure by her son Dennis Dudek and his wife Jamie; her daughter Denise Taylor; grandchildren Derek, Alana, and George; and great-grandson Michael.

Friends may call at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm where services will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00am.  Friends may also visit from 10:00 am until the time of services. Cremation will take place privately.
