Sandra Nagengast, 80, of Edison, passed away on April 24, 2020 at her residence.  Sandy was born in Yonkers, NY and was a resident of Edison for 56 years.  She was a Crossing Guard for Edison Township for 21 years before retiring in 2019.  Sandy was a loving mother, devoted wife, and a beloved friend to many.

Sandy was predeceased by her husband, Eric who passed on March 28, 2020 after 56 years of marriage; her parents, Anthony DiTacconi and her mother Angelina; and her brother, Anthony DiTacconi.

She is survived by her children, Alexandra R. Ginda, and son-in-law Charles and Teresa Nagengast; her grandchild, Hailey Boettger; her sister, Rosemary Lithgow; her brother, Giacomo DiTacconi and sister-in-law, Cynthia DiTacconi.  She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and nephews.

She will be missed by her children and grandchildren, and her grandpup, Dale.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
