Samuel Morales, 44, of Carteret, passed away in Woodbridge on January 26, 2020.  He was born in Perth Amboy on June 23, 1975.

Samuel was a Welder for Barone Steele in Brooklyn, NY. He was an avid Mets and Steelers fan. He enjoyed boxing, cooking and freestyle music.  Samuel liked to socialize with family and friends.  He was a confidante to many and was humble and sincere.

Samuel is survived by a son, Yandel Morales; parents, Vincent Ortiz, of  Baja, PR and Blanca Morales, of Woodbridge; a brother, Harry Antonio Torres, and his wife, Casandra, of Bridgeport, CT; two sisters, Marilyn Gomez of Edison and Irene Serrano, and her husband, Michael, of Woodbridge; companion, Chandan Acevedo, of Carteret; and many , aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2020, 4-8 pm at the Radiance Church, 446 Market St Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral services will be Friday 10 am at the church. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Linden.
