Samantha Booker aka "Spencer Cage", 26, of Perth Amboy, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020. A free spirit and lover of life, our beautiful Samantha was kind-hearted and giving, touching many with her great sense of humor and ability to tell the best stories. She loved music and dancing, she was the life of the party. Sam worked hard throughout her life and especially loved working at Speedway and most recently at Boscov's in Woodbridge Center Mall. She was also attending Berkeley College in Woodbridge, majoring in Medical Assisting. Sam loved sharing a morning hazelnut coffee from Dunkin Donuts and an asiago bagel from Panera Bread with her mom, as well as being night owls together, shopping at Walmart in East Brunswick at 1 AM, or dining at Applebee's. Her gentle, loving soul will be missed by all who knew her.

Samantha is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Isabella Redhead, her paternal grandfather, Milton Gholar, and her uncle Ira Drayton and his wife, Julia. Samantha is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Roberts, her father, Russell Gholar and wife Etzra Gholar, her step-father, Willie Booker, her siblings, Tamara Booker, Ashley Roberts, Jennifer Gholar, April Gholar-Mastin, Orlando Gholar and Wyatt Jacobs, her paternal grandmother, Francis Elizabeth Gholar, her nephew, Camren Colon, Ayden Gholar, Landen Gholar, her nieces, Xeniya Colon, Audry Gholar and Jayonna McCord, her uncles, Stanley Gholar, Eldry Guynes, Lesley Roberts and wife Andrea and Clarence R. Redhead, her aunts, Kimmie Gholar, Tonya Gholar, Camilla Johnson, and Yolanda Mitchell, her cousins, Michael Drayton and Lourdes Drayton.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 420-424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. A Funeral Service will commence at 5:00pm. Private cremation will follow.
