Ruth Palmer's Obituary
Ruth Palmer, 78, of Parlin died Saturday, August 14, 2010, at her home. Born in Offenbachamain, Germany, she resided in Parlin for the past 45 years.
Ruth was a hairdresser at Carousel Hair Salon for 20 years before retiring in 2001. She was a member of Temple Beth Mordecai and it's sisterhood in Perth Amboy. She was an avid gardener and active with the cub scouts, boy scouts, and girl scouts.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Victor Wallace Palmer, in 2000. Surviving family members include 2 daughters: Susan Trager and Janice Krane and her husband, Michael, of Manalpan;
son, Irving and wife, Amy, of Richmond, VA; 5 grandchildren; and a cousin, Arlene Cohen, of White Plains, NY.
Graveside services were held Sunday at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin. Arrangements were by the FLYNN AND SON/KOYEN FUNERAL HOME 319 Amboy Ave Metuchen, NJ.
