Ruth H. (Matthews) Malek, 92, of Pennington passed away on April 8, 2013, at home. Ruth was born and raised in Trenton and has lived in Pennington for 58 years. She was a member of the Pennington United Methodist Church for over 50 years and volunteered and served as past Secretary for 30 years with F.I.S.H. of Hopewell Valley Inc.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Michael Malek (1996), former owner and founder of Malek Chevrolet, Hopewell; a daughter, Joyce Malek (2009); two late brothers: Frank and Paul Matthews; and a sister, May Agins.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol French and her husband William of Texas; her two sons: Daniel Malek and wife Linda of West Amwell and Michael Malek of Pennington; two granddaughters: Michelle Flynn and Melissa Malek; three great-grandchildren: Daniel, Kyle, and Hunter Flynn; three brothers: Jack, Raymond, and Bert Matthews; and a sister, Elma Crunkleton.

Private services are entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ.
