Ruth M. (nee: Vankat) Holowka, 95, of Bethlehem, PA, passed peacefully at home, on Friday, November 1, 2019.

Born in New York City and formerly of Fords, she had resided with her daughter, in Bethlehem for the last 10 years.

She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas Holowka, who died in 1991, two of her daughters; Marilyn Clemintone, who just recently passed, on October 7, 2019, and Kathleen Holowka, her granddaughter, Michele Lee Holowka, her grandson, John Lacovara and her sister, Helen Cujah.

Ruth leaves behind, her beloved children; Nicholas Holowka and his wife, Donna, of Toms River, NJ Michael Holowka and his wife Darlene, of Fords, NJ, Ruth Ann Lacovara with whom she resided, in Bethlehem, PA, and Jean Jensen and her husband Roy, of St. Matthews, SC, her 15 dear grandchildren and 22 cherished great-grandchildren, and her two loving sisters; Dorothy Parmi of Lodi, NJ, Carol Rabe of Hackensack, NJ and her devoted brother, Joseph Vankat, of Elmwood Park, NJ. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave Fords NJ 08863, from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 9:30 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords, Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
