Ruth E. Hansen, 95, formerly of Fords, NJ, passed peacefully, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, NJ.  Born and raised in Perth Amboy, NJ, she had resided the Fords section of Woodbridge Twp. for most of her life.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry Hansen, who died in 2013; her brother, William Randolph; and her sister, Kathleen Randolph.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Ruthann Wernersbach and her husband, Robert, of Keyport, NJ; her beloved son, Henry Hansen of Carteret, NJ; her four grandchildren: Robert Wernersbach; Brett Wernersbach and his wife, Judi; Shane Wernersbach and his wife, Melenie; and Jamie Tetro and her husband, Ryan; and her 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863.  Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.

Cremation services will follow privately.
