Russell J. Rudolph, 88, of Woodbridge, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by family and friends, on April 12, 2022, He was born in Brooklyn on August 1, 1933. Russell was a graduate of Woodbridge High School Class of 1952. He served in the US Army. Russell was a Salesman for Sears in Watchung and was Owner/Operator of R. Rudolph Painting and Wallpaper. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed: fishing, hunting, boating and skiing. He also liked to spend his time carving and painting.

Russell was predeceased by his brothers, Francis and Thomas Rudolph.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosemarie (nee Swallick) Rudolph, of Woodbridge; a son, Jon Rudolph of Forked River; two nieces, Nancy Fontaine, of Charlotte, FL, and Patricia Hunter, of Willingboro, NJ.

Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022, 3-7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Tuesday 10:30 am at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 am Funeral Liturgy in Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
