Rudolph M. Adametz, Sr., 95, of Fords, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.  Born on April 18, 1926, in Perth Amboy, NJ, he had resided in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township for the last 71 years.  Rudolph retired in 1985 after 35 years as a Machinist for EI DuPont de Nemours of Parlin.  He was an avid golfer with the Tamarack Senior League and was also a member of the Woodbridge Billiards Club.  Rudolph proudly served his country with the US Army during WWII.

Rudolph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He cherished his family at home along with his golf and billiards families. If he wasn't organizing a golf outing or pinochle tournament, he was in one. Now he plays in heaven.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dolores (McMahon) Adametz and his siblings, Joseph Adametz and Stephanie Miskolczi.

He leaves behind his seven children: Donald; Michael; Stephen and his wife, Cindy; Susan; Richard; Rudolph, Jr. and his wife, Susan; and Mary Ann; and his twin grandchildren, Jessica & Rudolph and his wife, Brianne, along with his great-grandson, Samuel Rudolph Adametz.

Private cremation services were entrusted to the care of the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rudolph's memory to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
