Rosina Mary Leone, 98, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Perth Amboy, on February 13, 1921. She graduated from Perth Amboy High School, with the Class of 1938. She went on to get her nursing degree at the Perth Amboy School of Nursing. She became a Registered Nurse, and then was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, during WWII. She practiced at the JFK Medical Center and Roosevelt Hospital, both in Edison. She also enjoyed painting and singing in her church choir.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved parents, Luigi and Fortunata Leone; her sisters, Adele, Catherine, and baby Rosina; and her, brother Frank.

She leaves behind her many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday morning, June 13, 2019, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed with a prayer service at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest, in the Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
