Rosemary G. Smith, 88, of Edison, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Memory Care Living at Princeton. Born in New York City, Rosemary was a resident of Edison for 58 years. She was a business graduate of Fordam University and a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Rosemary worked in the Admissions Department at Rutgers University for 14 years and retired in 1993. She was also a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Rosemary volunteered many hours at Our Lady of Peace School from 1969 until 1983. She loved summertime and spent many happy days at Lake Sacandaga with the family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Eugene M. Smith (1992), and her daughter, Susan Smith (1983).

She is survived by her eight children: Carol, and her husband Larry Romano; Steven Smith; David Smith; Andrea Smith; Jeannene Smith; Paul Smith; Barry Smith and his wife, Lynn; and Phil Smith; seven grandchildren: Craig Romano, Kevin Romano, Rhiannon Smith, Kailey Smith, Connor Smith, Luke Smith and Logan Smith.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:00 am mass at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.   Cremation will be private. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
