Rosemarie (nee: Swallick) Rudolph, 86, of Woodbridge, passed peacefully at her home on Friday, October 7, 2022. She was born on August 6, 1936, in Perth Amboy, NJ, and resided most of her life in Woodbridge Township.
She retired in 2012 after 40 years as a high school English teacher, first at Woodbridge and later at Bishop George Ahr/St. Thomas Aquinas in Edison. She was the advisor for the school newspaper, "The Satoma."
She was an avid reader, an animal lover, and enjoyed boating at and visiting the Jersey Shore, especially the LBI and Sandy Hook beaches. She enjoyed fine dining with a passion for seafood dishes.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Russell J. Rudolph, who died in April of this year, her parents, John and Mary Swallick, and her brother, Rocco Swallick.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Jon Rudolph, of Forked River, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 10:30 am at the funeral home, followed by an 11 am funeral liturgy at Most Holy Rosary Church of the Good Shepherd parish in Hopelawn.
Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
