Obituary of Rose M. Sciacchitano


Rose M. Sciacchitano, 92, of Matawan, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Mrs. Sciacchitano was born in New York, NY to the late Peter and Josephine Mastrangelo and had lived in Matawan for the last 13 years.

Rose was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

She was a member of Club Sixty of Matawan.

She was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 2003.

Surviving are her son: Joseph Sciacchitano and wife Carol of Metuchen, and two grandchildren, Scott and Nicole.

Funeral services will be held Friday 7:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation services will follow. Visitation hours will be held Friday evening from 7-9 pm.
