Josephine "Rose" Scheider, 84, of Metuchen, passed away in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center on April 26, 2017. She was born on August 15, 1932 in Newark, NJ. Rose was a graduate of East Side High School in Newark, Class of 1950. She was a Medical Records Corresponder for JFK Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Aiello, in 2010; three late brothers and three late sisters.

Rose is survived by her husband of 52 years, George Scheider; son-in-law, Salvatore Aiello, of Staten Island; beloved grandson, Nicholas Aiello; two brothers, Joe Regal of Union and Peter Rygiel of Bethlehem, PA; niece and nephew, Laura and Mario Simi, of West Windsor.

Visitation will be Friday 3-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will begin Saturday 8:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 9 am Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery on Staten Island.
