Rose S. Rubinoff Lampert, 93, of Cranford entered into eternal rest on Saturday at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
She was born in Perth Amboy. Prior to her move to Cranford in 2000, she resided in Linden. Rose worked as a bookkeeper at Lampert Dairy Farms which her late husband Samuel was past President of. She was a member of Cong. Ansch Chesed in Linden and past President of it's Sisterhood. She was a member of Hadassah in Linden, past President Emeritus of the Hilda Gould Chapter of Deborah. She was a 1935 graduate of Perth Amboy High School. She was past President of the PTA at School 4 and Deerfield Elementary School (both in Linden) and a member of the Board at both Linden Jr. High and Linden High School. Rose was a member and past President of the Linden Social Club and a Girl Scout troop leader for over 25 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel, in 2004; her sister, Esther Golub; and her brothers: Sol Roberts and Samuel Rubinoff. Surviving are her children: Gloria Brubaker and her husband Jim of Titusville Florida, Carole Mae Poller and her husband Uri of East Brunswick, Arthur R. and his wife Susan of Atlantic City, Debra J. Lampert-Rudman and her husband Richard of Pennington; grandchildren: Marc Scott, Melissa Scott-Luib, Steven and Daniel Lampert, Michael and Alan Poller; great-grandchildren: Max Scott, Maya and Jackson Luib, Sam, Joseph, and Sophie Poller; and her brother, Irv Roberts, of Madison.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Cong. Ansch Chesed and interment was in Beth Israel Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Deborah Hospital Hilda Gould Chapter. Arrangements were entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.
