Rose Marie Rios, 77, of Fords, passed peacefully, with her family at her side, on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.

She was born in Newark, and has resided in Fords the last 45 years.

She retired from Revlon Corp. in Edison, after 22 years as an assembler.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Fords.

Rose Marie is predeceased by her sister, Katherine Martin and her brothers, Richard and Vito Rippo.


Rose Marie leaves behind her beloved husband of 62 years, Ernest Rios, her three beloved daughters, Phyllis Mordoh and her husband Stuart, of Edison, Deborah Rios of Parlin, and Sandra Thompson and her husband, Ward, of Phillipsburg, her 9 grandchildren, Michael, Todd, Melissa, Sheila, Tara, Felicia, Steven, Ryan, and Emily and her 9 great grandchildren, her sister, Joyce Anzella and her husband William, of Woodbridge, and her half brother, Louis Rippo of Fla. And half sisters, Philomena Canetti of Forked River and Tina Nich of Bayville.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, at 10 a.m. from the Flynn & son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy, at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2- 4 pm & 7-9 pm.
