Obituary

Rose Marie "Peggy" Liberti, 92, of Edison, died Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Peggy was born in Perth Amboy on August 2, 1930 to Mr. & Mrs. Michael Waverczak.
She was a graduate of St. Mary's PA class of '48.
Peggy was a retired Teacher's Aid with the Perth Amboy Board of Education for many years working with hundreds of students who adored her for the love and guidance she provided. She was a member of the St. Ann's Society and chairperson of many successful Calendar Events.
Survivors include son, Don and his wife Maureen of Edison, grandchildren, Nicole and Heather Liberti, Anna (Mark) Ferrari, Dr. Anthony Liberti, and Amanda (Nick) Allan; great grandchildren, Sophia and Stella Forte and Madison and Hayden Ferrari, and her brother William Waverczak.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, of 34 years in 1986, son, Nicholas in 2012; daughter-in-law, Sue in 2008, sister Lillian Henderson and brothers Michael and Robert Waverczak.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 22 from 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. Funeral services on Wednesday, November 23 at 10:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Most Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hopelawn.
