Rose G. Kaufman, 96, of Fanwood, NJ, passed away at Overlook Hospital in Summit, on November 2, 2021.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was formerly of Perth Amboy, Metuchen, Edison, and Boynton Beach, FL.

Rose was a member of Temple Neve Shalom Metuchen, a former Sisterhood Board member, and a life and former Board member of Hadassah.  She spent time as a volunteer at JFK Hospital where she visited with patients; Jewish Family Services; Meals-on-Wheels; and was a member of Coral Lakes Cancer Research.

She was predeceased by her husband, Morton R. Kaufman, in 2015 and her first husband, Bernard Goldman, in 1962.

Rose is survived by her children: Lawrence Goldman and his wife, Cynthia, of Scotch Plains; Michael Kaufman of Chester; Deborah Lubranski and her husband, Leon, of Scotch Plains; and Debra Kaufman of Westport, CT.  She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Bethany; Andrew and his fiancé, Bridget Ercole; Daniel and Evan; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held privately under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.  Interment was in Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

Charitable contributions in Rose's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or Temple Neve Shalom Metuchen.
