Rose (Testarmata) Critelli, 87, a life-long resident of Perth Amboy, passed peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2012, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School with the Class of 1943. Rose was a communicant of the Good Shepherd Parish at Holy Spirit Church and Holy Spirit Seniors in Perth Amboy. She was a member of the Rosary Memorial Post #1613 Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxilliary. Rose had been employed for 32 years with the Revlon Corp. in Edison working in the Returned Goods Department before retiring in 1992. Prior to that she had been a telephone operator with Bell Telephone in Perth Amboy for many years. Rose had a great love and devotion for God, her family, and her many friends. She was a wonderful cook and will especially be remembered for her fine sauce and Italian cheesecake.

She is predeceased by her goddaughter, Marie Malloy who died earlier this year. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 66 years, Joseph Critelli; her beloved daughter, JoAnn Jarvis and her son-in-law, William, of Perth Amboy; her dear granddaughter, Jessica Jarvis of Perth Amboy and her fiance, John Conte of Carteret; her goddaughter, Linda Cruz of Perth Amboy; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 9:30 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Holy Spirit Church of the Good Shepherd Parish, Perth Amboy. Entombment will follow in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
