Rose Scarfo Ciccone died on January 7, 2018, at her home in Metuchen.  Rose was born on December 20, 1926, in Genoa, Italy.  Orphaned at an early age, she was raised by beloved aunts and uncle.  She emigrated to the United States in February of 1947 and settled in New York City, where she met and married Nino Ciccone in June of 1948, residing in the Bronx until 1961 when they came to New Jersey.

Rose worked as a seamstress for many years and was a proud member of the ILGWU.  She worked at Revlon beginning in 1978 and retired in 1988.  Rose took great pride in the accomplishments of all her family members.

Rose is survived by her daughter Yolanda Ciccone and her husband Michael Guarino and her son Raymond Ciccone and his wife Gina Ciccone. Her three grandchildren were her greatest joy- Anthony Ciccone, Nicole Ciccone, and Roxanne Guarino.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Holy Rosary R C Church.  Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.  Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
