Rose V. Cappiello, 94, entered into eternal rest on October 30,2022.

Rose was born in Jersey City to the late Michael Cappiello and Theresa (nee Pace) Cappiello on March 26, 1928. She grew up in Jersey City and was a graduate of Synder High School. She was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church for many years.

Rose later resided in Keasbey, New Jersey, for many years until moving to lselin where she presently resided. She was a member of St Cecelia's parish

Rose had a long career as a Legal Secretary in Manhattan for the law firm of Lord Day and Lord, Barret Smith. She enjoyed dressing up on weekends for dinners with her family and friends. She traveled to many countries and enjoyed attending religious retreats. She especially enjoyed spending time with her four sisters and her brother and their families for holidays, special events and their frequent outings.

Rose was predeceased by her brother, Anthony, and his wife Connie; her sisters: Angela Somma and her husband, Frederick; Mary Bozza and her husband, Joseph; Anna Gironda and her husband, Joseph; her brother-in-law, George Quattrone; her niece, Linda Cappiello; her nephew, George Quattrone; and her nephew's wife, Diane Gironda.

She leaves behind to mourn her sister, Dolores Quattrone of Fords; her niece, Joan Buccola and her husband, Paul, of St. Lucy West, Florida; her nephews: Ronald Gironda of Mountain Lakes; Robert Gironda and his wife, Justine, of Edison; Lawrence Cappiello and his wife, Sharon, of Rahway; her nieces Gloria DeMarzo and her husband, Frank, of Clark and Elaine Quattrone of Metuchen; and many great- nieces and nephews and their children as well as many loving and devoted friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.  Interment will follow at St Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
