Rose Baginsky (nee D'Amico), 81, of Farmington Hills, MI, passed away on August 26, 2015, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born September 5, 1933, in Perth Amboy. She resided in Michigan for the last three years and was formerly from Toms River and Perth Amboy. Rose was a retired Administrative Assistant for several business, most recently, St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Toms River where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector, a member of the Rosary Society and a Bingo worker. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School. She volunteered for Deborah Hospital in Toms River. She was a fan of the NY Giants and was an avid reader and bowler.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Baginsky, in 1978; two brothers, Ignazio "John" and Angelo D'Amico; and a sister, Catherine Zagalik.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Johanna Bermann and her husband, Dr. Martin, of Farmington Hills, MI; son, John Baginsky and his wife, Colette, of South River; two grandchildren, John and Nicole; and a brother, Samuel D'Amico, of Hopelawn.
Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will begin, Monday 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Service of Devine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
