Rosalie Catherine (Renda) Zito of Perth Amboy, NJ, East Brunswick, NJ, and Key West, FL died Saturday February 19, 2011 two days after her 90th birthday at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she married Dr. Paul F. Zito in 1945 and was office manager of his surgical practice in Perth Amboy until his retirement. Rosalie earned an Associate Degree as legal secretary from Columbia and Lee College in New York City. She was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church and long time Treasurer of the PTA. She was a member of Raritan Bay Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary of the Rosary Memorial Post # 1613 Catholic War Veterans, Trustee of the Paul F.Zito M.D. Educational Foundation and benefactor to numerous organizations and charities.

Rosalie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Paul F. Zito. Surviving is her devoted daughter, Maria Zito-Kaufman and husband Simon L. Kaufman; son, Vincent Paul Zito and grandson Peter J. Bonafide.

Visiting hours are 2-4, 7-9 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ. Funeral Services will begin Thursday 10:15 AM February 24, 2011 at the funeral home followed by an 11:00AM Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Rosary Church. Entombment will be in Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
