Ronald J. Vincent, 80, of Edison, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy. Ron was born in Perth Amboy on August 6, 1941, where he had resided until moving to Edison 26 years ago.
He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy with the class of 1959.
He was a former communicant of St. Mary's RC Church in Perth Amboy.
He was a retired welder for Huls America, formerly, Tenneco Chemical Co. in Edison, and a member of the Steelworkers Union in Edison.
He was an avid race car builder, Ron's first car he built was the XL1, and he was a NASCAR Enthusiast.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Constance "Connie" Vincent who died in 2020, and his son Brian S. Vincent, who died in September of this year.
He leaves behind his two beloved daughters, Renee Vincent of Iselin and Michele Nardone and her husband Patrick, of Colonia, and his six dear grandchild children; Chad and Montana Barrall, Katie and Brian Vincent, and Ava and Kim Nardone. Ronald also leaves behind his best friend Billy, his beloved dog.
Visitation will take place at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, on Monday October 11, 2021, from 5 pm to 7 pm. A 10 am funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by an interment in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
