Ronald P. Novembre's Obituary
Ronald P. Novembre, 87, formerly of Fords, passed peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Francis Parker Home at Landing Lane in New Brunswick.
He was born and raised in Union City, NJ, had resided in Fords for over 52 years.
He was a graduate of Emerson High School, in Union City and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army 82
nd
Airborne Division, Paratroopers.
He was employed as an Attendance Control Officer with the Union City Board of Education for over 38 years, before retiring in 1988.
He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post # 14 in Union City, NJ and the 82
nd
Airborne Division in Clara Barton.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Beverly M. Novembre, his two beloved sons; Thomas Novembre and his wife, Sheila of Edison and Paul Novembre and his husband, Joe Hose of Monmouth Jct., his two dear grandchildren; Veronica and Thomas Novembre and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Christopher Sadlo officiating, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or on line to: St. Jude.org.
