Ronald "Ron" Joseph Kopi, 77, of Woodbridge passed away suddenly on May 19, 2022, at his home.  Born in Perth Amboy, Ron had lived in Sewaren and Woodbridge his whole life.  He spent the majority of his career as a truck driver.  Ron enjoyed classic cars and attending car shows, his favorite was a 57 Chevy.  He was a great bowler, mechanic, loved country and golden oldies music, he could fix anything and never missed playing his daily lottery.  He loved the NY Giants, Yankees and also enjoyed NASCAR.  Ron knew everybody and everybody knew Ron.  He will be so deeply missed and forever loved.  He was a member of Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, Perth Amboy.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ann Kopi.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, of 52 years, Bernice; his loving daughter, Jennifer S. Gzemski and son-in-law, Dan; a sister, Joanne Kara; and his faithful dog, Timmy, and his grand-dog, Gus.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 7-9 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 9:30 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy followed by a Service of Divine Liturgy at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption. Interment will follow in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Cemetery, Hopelawn.
