Roberta "Bobbie" Lois Reuter Dowling, 80, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, June 24, 2017 at her home.  She was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Edison most of her life.

Bobbie was an Event Planner with DeGussa formerly Metz Metalurgical in South Plainfield for 15 years before retiring in 2002.  During her career she had held similar positions with Digital Equipment, Indiana General, and Lockheed Electronics.

Bobbie is survived by her son Thomas W. Dowling III and his wife Judith Hopey of Metuchen and her sister Gretchen Reuter of Metuchen.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 1 to 3 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.
