Robert "Bob" "Rocky" Zambor, 76, of Whitting, passed away on July 30, 2023, at home. He was born on October 17, 1946, in New Brunswick to Frank and Helen Zambor.  He resided in Whitting for 4 years and was formerly of Monroe Township. He was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1964; Kansas State University, Class of 1968 with a BS; and Kansas Emporium College with a MS in 1970.

Bob was a retired NJ State Trooper, serving 20 years as an Inspector for the ABC, stationed in Holmdel.  He also worked as an armed security guard for Wells Fargo, as a personal trainer, and owned a beauty salon with his wife, Karen, called Creative Cuts in Old Bridge, NJ.

Bob was predeceased by his daughter, Kerri Silva in 2021 and his parents, Frank and Helen Zambor.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, of 38 years; his son, Kenneth Forano and his wife, Sabrina; three grandchildren: Rhiannon O'Keefe and her husband, Ryan; Zackery Forano; and Zander Forano.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM with Fr. Martin Vavrak officiating.  Cremation will follow privately.
