Robert Nicholas Vacca, 69, of Homosassa, FL, entered into eternal rest June 15, 2017, at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL.  He was born in Newark and was formerly of Piscataway before moving to Homosassa 13 years ago.   Robert was the Manager of World Wide Computer Security with Merck and Co. in Rahway, for 35 years before retiring in 2003.   He was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.  He was a member of the Touch of Class Corvette Club in Inverness, FL, a member of the Citrus County Elks Club, and the Sugar Mill-Woods Country Club

Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia J. Dudics Vacca; his daughter, Jennifer Brusco and her husband, Matthew, of Pennington; and his grandchildren, Amanda Bean and her husband, Taylor; Katelyn Pepitone; and Nicholas Vacca-Pepitone.  He is also survived by his mother, Kathryn Vacca, of Woodbridge; and his sisters, Joanne Di  Napoli of Woodbridge, and Deborah Monaco of Avenel.

Funeral services will be held on June 24, 2017, at 11:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 12 Noon Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church.  Visitation is Saturday from 9 am to 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Parkinson's Foundation in honor of his father, Rocco Vacca.
