Obituary

Robert J. Trout, 74, died peacefully at home in Florida on September 24, 2013. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and spent most of his life in Westfield, NJ with his loving and devoted wife Michele. A great history buff and American patriot, he was proud to serve his country in the military in Korea. Robert, known to his family as "Uncle Bob", was respected and loved by his family, many friends, and business associates. All sought his advice and admired his positive attitude and joy of life. He was an avid skier and an experienced sailor. His outgoing personality, wit, and charm were always present especially when he related stories of his sailing adventures aboard "Black Magic". An engineer by profession, he enjoyed a successful career in sales. Robert was predeceased by his mom and dad, Gladys and Lewis Trout, and his sister, Lois Molnar. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Michele, (nee DeChristopher), his niece Suzanne Molnar, his nephew and wife, John and Heather Molnar, his sister and brother-in-law, Jeanmarie and Donald Piscitelli, his niece and husband Rachel and Stephen Faig, his nephew and wife, Christopher and Jaclyn Piscitelli and his great nephew and great niece, Hunter and Lauren Molnar.
Friends and relatives will gather in Bob's memory for a memorial tribute on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, concluding with a 3 p.m. memorial prayer service with Rev. Sean Winters officiating, Military honors will follow.
