Robert L. Terefenko 62, of Clarksburg, entered into eternal rest October 20, 2019 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.  He was born in Elizabeth, and was formerly of Linden, before moving to Clarksburg in 1987.

Robert owned and operated Homestead Iron and Metal in Avenel for seventeen years until 2016.

He was an active member of the Forsgate Country Club, and an avid bowler belonging to Majestic Lanes bowling league in Woodbridge.

He was the past president of The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries NJ Chapter, 1999 to 2001.

Robert was predeceased by his brother Joseph in 2018.  He is survived by his wife Helene, his son James Terefenko and his fiancée Samantha, and siblings Ken of Toms River and Michael of Stafford Twp.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10 am liturgy at The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, 684 Alta Vista Place, Perth Amboy.  Visitation is Friday October 25, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm.  Parastas service will be at 6:30 pm.
