Robert M. Ring, 60, of Orlando, FL, passed away February 21, 2014, at the Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando. He was born August 18, 1953, in Rahway, NJ. Robert has resided in Orlando for the last 12 years; prior to that, he lived in Perth Amboy. Robert was an expert in the field of designing, wiring, testing, and electrical assembly of communications equipment. He was the Technical Supervisor of Manufacturing for the Cobham Company in Orlando, where he developed many new products. He enjoyed working on electronics and building computers.

Robert is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janice Ring; two daughters, Amy and Christine Ring of Orlando; a brother, Rodney Ring, of Bradford, PA; and a niece, Samantha Ring.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:00 am, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy in Good Shepherd Parish at Holy Spirit Church. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
