Robert A. Mosher, Sr. passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013. He was 75 years old. He was born in Newark, NJ, on December 6, 1937, to the late George and Lillian (Oberle) Mosher. He was a resident of Menlo Park Terrace for many years.

Mr. Mosher was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1955 to 1958.
He was employed by Telcordia Communications for 17 years before retiring in 2011. He was previously employed by Verizon as an Installation Supervisor for 33 years before retiring in 1991.

Mr. Mosher was a member of American Legion Post 5 in Rahway and was the current Commander. He was also a member of the VFW Post 6061 of Colonia, and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Iselin.

Mr. Mosher is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Lang Mosher; two sons, Robert A. Mosher, Jr. and his wife Lisa, and Michael Mosher and his wife Suzanne; two daughters, Patricia Mosher Curtis and her husband Kevin, and Susan Mosher DeFriest and her husband Kevin; four grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Raymond Talarico.

Arrangements are by the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, from 7:00-9:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 9:30 AM at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, 224 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
