Robert "Bob" Miller, 68, of Perth Amboy, passed peacefully at the J F K Medical Center in Edison with his family at his side on Monday, September 9, 2013.

He was a life long resident of the city and a graduate of Perth Amboy High School "Class of 1963".

Bob retired in 1993, after over 30 years in the Deli Dept. with Foodtown Supermarkets in Metuchen, and various other locations,

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Perth Amboy.

A volunteer member of the Perth Amboy Fire Dept. for over 30 years, with the Humane Hood & Ladder Co. and was member of the Exempts Firemen's Association.

Bob had many interests including a passion for U.S. History, with a special interest in the Civil War. Bob was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing with his friends from here and in Cape Cod, MA. and he was a big NASCAR enthusiast.

He was predeceased by his brother, John "Bing" Miller, who died in July of this year..

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Margaret Miller, his loving daughter and son in law, Melissa and Stephen Smith of Perth Amboy, his brother, Allen Miller and his sister in law, Patricia of Little Egg Harbor, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the Flynn & son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave Fords, NJ 08863, followed by an 11 a.m. Service at the First Presbyterian Church of Perth Amboy. A private cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be on Friday,September 13, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Restoration Fund at the First Presbyterian Church of Perth Amboy 45 Market St. Perth Amboy, NJ 08861
