Robert C. McQueen, 70, of Edison, died on May 27, surrounded by family.  Born in Newark, he was a resident of Edison for the past 37 years.  Robert was a graduate of Rutgers University and former Vice President of Purchasing at Silver Line Building Products in North Brunswick.  He served in the U.S. Army, and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Paula; son, Gregg; daughter-in-law, Julianne; and grandson, Jack Robert of New York City; daughter Megan of Manasquan; sister Diane of Cape Coral, FL; several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church on Saturday, June 13 at 12:30pm. Cremation and burial will be done privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
