Robert "Bob" Lewis Kover, 72, of Edison, passed away on May 18, 2017, surrounded by his family, at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. Born in New Brunswick, Bob was a resident of Edison for 40 years.  He served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam and spent two more years in the reserves.  Bob enjoyed reading, fishing, crossword puzzles, Mets, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marlene (Ivanitski) Kover; his three children, Lorraine Kover of Edison, Robert J. Kover and his wife Lizzie of PA, and Linda Lucarelli and her husband Sam of Monroe Township; his four grandchildren, Kevin, Emily, Madison and Tyler; his siblings, June Calavetta, William Kover, and Kathleen Stark; he also leaves behind his dog Molly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 10 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
