Robert Epstein 65, of Parlin, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn and has resided in Parlin for the past 10 years.

Robert was a self-employed Optometrist for the past 40 years previously having an office in East Brunswick and presently in Old Bridge.

He was a member of Temple Beth Mordecai in Perth Amboy. He was active with the Northern NJ Political Action Committee to strengthen US-Israel ties, Vice President for special projects at Manalapan-Marlboro B'nai Brith, and was a true Zionist.

Robert is survived by his daughter Rachel Epstein of Englishtown, his sister Elyse Lyons of Edison, and his nephew Lance Jacob Lyons of Brooklyn.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 21, 2014 at 11 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen with Rabbi Ari Sacks officiating. Interment will be in Beth Mordecai Cemetery.
