Robert William English, known mostly as Bob, 71, of Somerset, NJ, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Stein Assisted Living in Somerset.

He was born on June 19, 1953 in Somerville, NJ, was raised in Middlesex, NJ. Formerly of Edison, and Metuchen, NJ he resided in Somerset since February of this year.

Bob enjoyed many things including: sweets, animals (especially dogs), westerns and movies in general, the beach, "The Sopranos", music (especially The Beatles and Eric Clapton), black coffee, with lots of sugar, and most of all, connecting with friends and family.

Bob proudly served his country in the US Air Force.

He was involved in the pharmaceutical production industry associated with Actavis Pharmaceuticals in Piscataway, NJ, among others.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Elizabeth (Bettie), and his son Justin.

He leaves behind his beloved children, daughters, Chelsea and Dana, sons, Robert Nolan and Ronald, and their respective families.
