Robert Kevin Coviello, 79, passed away on August 23, 2023.

Mr. Coviello was born in Newark, NJ on April 18, 1944. He spent most of his youth in Edison, NJ and graduated from John P. Stevens High School in Edison. Robert has resided in New Jersey since then, most recently in South Amboy. He is retired from the State of New Jersey.

Robert was predeceased by his mother Eileen (nee Gockel) Coviello, Captain U.S. Public Health Service, and father Dr. Pasquale Coviello.

He is survived by his uncle and aunt, Thomas and Harriet Gockel of Edison, and many cousins including Kathleen Frenchu of Belle Mead, NJ, who provided support and care for Robert in his final years.

Private funeral arrangements were handled by Flynn and Son Funeral Home in Fords, NJ with burial at St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
