Robert A. Brown 88, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, June 17, 2018 at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton.  He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, and has resided in Edison for the past 60 years.

Robert was the Security Manager at Brooks Protection in Woodbridge for 20 years before retiring in 1992.

He served his country faithfully in the Navy during the Korean War.

Robert was a member, Elder, and Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Perth Amboy and served on the Board of Trustees and sang in the Church Choir.

He is survived by his wife Janet E Petersen Brown, his children Douglas R. Brown of Edison, and Kathi Fancher and her husband Edward of Levittown, PA, and his grandson Joseph.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, followed by an 11 am service at the First Presbyterian Church, Perth Amboy.  Interment will be in the Alpine Cemetery.  Visitation is Wednesday from 4-8 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
