Rita (Zagoreen) Ziner, 82 of Edison, passed on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at JFK Haven Hospice, Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, Rita resided in Edison for 52 years.
Rita was a Graduate of Douglass College, New Brunswick. She was employed as a Biochemist for Exxon in Linden. Following her employment at Exxon, Rita and her husband Irwin owned and operated the 5th Avenue Card Shop, South Plainfield from 1971 to 1991.
Rita was predeceased by her husband, Irwin, in 2007. She is survived by her son, Jonathan R. Ziner of Fords; her daughter, Jennifer P. Rayment and son-in-law David of Colorado; three grandchildren: Nicholas M. Ziner, Brooke Rayment, and Lauren Rayment.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.
